How to make this vitamin c immune boosting juice: step by step intructions

This recipe makes approximately 1 litre of vitamin c immune boosting juice and takes around 20 minutes to do from start to finish.

  1. Start by thoroughly washing all the ingredients. **Note: You do not need to peel the turmeric or ginger but if you’re concerned about pesticides, a vegetable brush will help to clean it more effectively.
  2. Cut all the oranges in half and feed it through the citrus juicer and set aside.
  3. Remove the head and skin of the pineapple, cut into four and chop into chunks to fit in the juicer. Cut the apples in four and remove the seeds.
  4. Now it’s time to start juicing. Feed the turmeric, than the ginger into the juicer. Next add the apples and finish off with the pineapple chunks.
  5. Once done, add the orange juice to the juice and mix thoroughly to complete the vitamin c immune boosting juice.

Notes

  • Opt for a cold press juicer to preserve as much of the nutrients as possible.
  • Turmeric can have quite a distinctive taste, if you feel it comes out too much in the recipe try adding some ginger to your juice.
  • You can store the juice in the fridge for upto three days, after this the freshness and nutrient value starts to decrease.
